Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of resources to meet operational targets.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes to maximise productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align logistics operations with company objectives.
  • Manage budgets and control costs within the logistics department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Experience in logistics or operational management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Will have worked in a complex processing environment
  • Chemical, waste or other heavily regulated industrial experience would be a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations is essential
  • The ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively with a knowledge on controlling varying costs across and environment



What's on Offer

  • Salary between £57,000 and £65,000 dependent on the level of experience.
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
  • 3% to 5% pension contribution.
