We are seeking a dedicated PA Team Manager to lead and oversee a team of Junior Personal Assistants within the business services sector. This role in Oxfordshire requires strong organisational and leadership skills to ensure the efficient operation of the team.This is a 12-month FTC initially, with potential of extension or becoming permanent.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of PA Team Manager - 12-month FTC will be:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the PA team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Coordinate and distribute workloads effectively across the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain and develop efficient administrative processes and systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients, ensuring effective communication.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the secretarial and business support department.

The Successful Applicant

The successful PA Team Manager - 12-month FTC will have:

  • Proven experience managing a team within a professional environment (ideally within Business Support).
  • Previous experience in a PA/EA role is highly desirable, or a similar/transferable position.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to oversee daily operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in administrative and secretarial processes within the business services industry.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address challenges.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • The ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure, ever-changing environments.
  • Experience growing a team, or taking a team through a change, is highly desirable.
