Job Description

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment queries.
  • Support the accounting and finance team with administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • To assist with internal and external auditors as and when required.
  • Contribute to improving processes within the purchase ledger function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Experience in purchase ledger or similar accounting roles.
  • A good understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
