Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legislation.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to support wider financial operations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries professionally.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and implement best practices in payroll management.
  • Assist in audits and reporting requirements specific to the not-for-profit sector.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in payroll management within the not-for-profit industry.
  • MUST HAVE iTRENT exposure
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an Accounting & Finance team.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A professional qualification in payroll or accounting is desirable.
