We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide executive support within a busy and high-profile public sector environment based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional PA with strong stakeholder management skills to support senior leadership and elected representatives in a fast-paced setting.

Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage complex and constantly changing diaries.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Organise appointments, events and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings where required, taking accurate notes and recording actions.
  • Monitor and track actions, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Support governance and decision-making processes through effective administrative coordination.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator position.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, directors or executive-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional diary management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities within a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
  • A professional and diplomatic approach when dealing with senior stakeholders.
