Job Description

  • Manage a varied caseload of personal injury claims from inception to conclusion.
  • Lead and mentor a team of lawyers and paralegals
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on personal injury matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct negotiations with opposing parties to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case progress and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay informed about developments in personal injury law and apply them to casework.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Injury Associate Solicitor should have:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Scotland, with at least 5 years pqe
  • Proven expertise in handling personal injury claims.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-focused approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
