Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide tailored tax advice to clients, addressing their unique financial needs.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Advise on tax planning opportunities to optimise client outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Support the wider tax team in achieving departmental goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Assistant Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax legislation and compliance.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to work collaboratively within a professional services environment.
