Job Description

  • Dispense prescription medicines accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on over the counter medications and general health concerns.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, prescriptions, and patient interactions.
  • Lead and support the pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions.
  • Oversee stock management, including ordering and proper storage of medicines.
  • Promote healthcare services offered within the retail environment.
  • Deliver services like NMS, flu vaccinations, BP checks, diabetes screening and more.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacist should have:

  • A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • A focus on maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
