Job Description

  • Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical care and advice to patients and customers.
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve performance targets and maintain excellent service levels.
  • Oversee stock management to ensure the availability of essential medications.
  • Ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Implement strategies to grow the pharmacy's business and enhance its reputation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Working Monday - Friday 9-6 and 1 in 4 Saturdays 9-12

The Successful Applicant

A successful Registered Pharmacist Manager should have:

  • A degree in pharmacy and full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and healthcare standards in the retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
