Job Description

  • Manage and deliver tax compliance services for a portfolio of private clients.
  • Provide tailored tax advice on a variety of matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning.
  • Assist with HMRC enquiries and tax investigations to ensure client compliance.
  • Review and manage the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted tax advisor.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to business development activities.
  • Ensure all work adheres to relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and advise clients accordingly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Private Client Tax Senior should have:

  • Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and related regulations.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of private clients within the business services industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Excellent communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
