Job Description

Project Manager - Capital Markets/Corporate Banking responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles within Capital Markets and Corporate Banking.
  • Lead a range of business driven projects including regulatory, compliance, product and system adoption driven projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders effectively.
  • Plan and drive completion of all project artefacts including the business case, regulatory requirements, project roadmap, budget, testing, deliverables implementation and handover into business as usual
  • Implement best practices and methodologies for project management within Financial Services.
  • Oversee resource allocation and project prioritisation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams in London and beyond.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Capital Markets/Corporate Banking should have:

  • Proven experience in managing projects within Financial Services, specifically in Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.
  • Experience in Business Driven projects such as regulatory, compliance, product and system adoption driven projects. This role is not a technology project delivery role.
  • A strong understanding of banking and financial services operations.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills to drive project success.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address challenges during the project lifecycle.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management or a related field.
