Looking to add a Project/Quantity Surveyor to their Midlands based Business Unit.

Job Description

As a core member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading pre‑ and post‑contract commercial activities and ensuring robust processes across each project. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing subcontract procurement, measurement, valuation, and contractual administration
  • Supporting and promoting strong Health & Safety standards through regular reviews and compliance monitoring
  • Leading valuations, cashflow management, and monthly reporting (including CVRs, procurement updates, and progress reporting)
  • Working closely with project teams to optimise procurement strategies, production efficiency, and commercial outcomes
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Supporting the development and performance of the commercial team



The Successful Applicant

A successful Project/Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, measurement, and valuation
  • Experience in subcontract procurement and familiarity with NEC contracts (preferred)
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to drive cost control and maximise value
  • Confidence in engaging with clients, PQS teams, design consultants, and the supply chain
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented approach
