Job Description

  • Support programme approval, amendment and review processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate curriculum information.
  • Maintain and update programme, module and assessment data in SITS, ensuring adherence to validation rules.
  • Assist with curriculum‑data workflows, system use and data‑migration or implementation activities.
  • Prepare committee papers, minute meetings, track actions and liaise confidently with senior stakeholders and external panel members.
  • Manage competing deadlines, identify inconsistencies, and resolve issues with high attention to detail.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Officer should have:

  • Strong understanding of HE curriculum data and validation rules
  • Hands‑on experience with SITS programme and module setup
  • Knowledge of HESA reporting and how curriculum data feeds student and course returns
  • Experience in programme governance, quality assurance or academic administration
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Proven organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
