Job Description

  • Provide expert legal advice on real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor for property-related legal issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for property transactions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and provide insights to clients and colleagues.
  • Support business development activities to expand the firm's real estate practice

The Successful Applicant

A successful Real Estate Solicitor - Associate/Senior Associate should have:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Scotland with at least 4 years PQE
  • Strong knowledge of property law and related legal processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and client portfolios.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach to solving legal challenges.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
