Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct title checks and resolve any related issues.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties as required.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
  • Support colleagues and provide input on complex cases as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor should have:

  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland with 3+ yers PQE in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and relevant legal regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions effectively.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and client service abilities.
  • Proficiency in using case management software and legal research tools.
