Job Description

Sales Administrator in a car dealership supports the sales team by managing vehicle documentation, processing orders, and ensuring compliance. Key duties include taxing/registering new and used vehicles, invoicing, updating dealer management systems (e.g., Kerridge), and coordinating deliveries, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient customer handover process.

  • Vehicle Administration: Registering vehicles with the DVLA, taxing cars, and managing the vehicle pipeline from order to handover.
  • Documentation and Invoicing: Preparing accurate vehicle invoices, processing customer payments, and managing finance paperwork.
  • Stock Management: Monitoring vehicle stock, updating dealer systems (DMS), and managing stock files.
  • Sales Team Support: Assisting sales executives with customer queries, providing customer service, and arranging vehicle deliveries.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all sales comply with company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and financial (FCA) regulations
