Launched as an Executive Agency of the Cabinet Office in 2018, we're a relatively new department and we are growing fast so we also need people who thrive in ambiguity, can adapt quickly to change and are comfortable stepping outside of their remit to drive outcomes.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesRequirements and Specifications (Functional & Technical)Elicit business, stakeholder and solution (functional/non-functional) requirements and prepare business requirements documents.Translate business needs into functional specifications for developers and solution architects, ensuring the technical implementation is aligned with business goalsSystem and Data Migration StrategyDesign and drive the overall strategy data and systems for migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.Develop a comprehensive data inventory for migrating data (emails, documents and applications) from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsChange Impact AnalysisPerform detailed assessments of the potential impact of the Microsoft 365 implementation on business processes, systems, data and roles.Leverage your analytical skills to perform gap analyses and provide data-driven recommendations that enhance productivity and support business objectives.Create a list of existing Identity Management / SSO integration with existing systems that will need to re-integrate with Microsoft 365 EntraID.Information Governance - Compliance and Data GovernanceEnsure that the migration aligns with all applicable legal, regulatory and compliance standards.Work closely with security and legal teams to ensure information is governed effectively, including GDPR and data retention policiesStakeholder Engagement and CommunicationIdentify key stakeholders across the organisation, create engagement plans, and communicate business impacts, project goals and progress effectively.Ensure alignment with business needs and foster a positive attitude towards changeUser Adoption and TrainingCollaborate with training teams to develop learning programs, tutorials, and workshops that will help users maximise their use of Microsoft 365 tools like SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.Elevate user experience by ensuring that Microsoft 365 delivers an intuitive and seamless user experience by working with technical teams to design solutions that meet user requirements and enhance productivity.The Successful ApplicantEssential criteria:5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, preferably in Microsoft 365 implementations, and/or migrations from Google Workspace.Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide digital transformation projects and managing large-scale IT projectsAbility to see the big picture and create a transformation roadmap that aligns with long-term business goalsDeep knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams) and familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs)Master at building relationships, negotiating priorities, and keeping everyone aligned towards the common goalComfortable working in agile environments and driving iterative improvements.Essential criteria:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.Desirable criteria:Master's degree preferredMicrosoft 365 CertifiedPMP or PRINCE2 CertificationFamiliarity with SFIA Framework is a plusUnderstanding DDaT Framework is a plusA desire for continuous professional development and to certify your skillsPlease note this role requires SC Level Clearance which will be undertaken by GPA at vetting stage should you be successful at interviewWhat's on OfferA salary of £58,478 - £61,104.28.9% Civil Service Pension.Hybrid OfficeApplications close - 4th October.
