Job Description

  • Monitor and assess compliance with regulatory and AML requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support on AML policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance frameworks and controls.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and ensure timely submissions.
  • Support internal and external audits related to compliance and AML.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on compliance and AML matters.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to address compliance-related issues effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Compliance Officer and Deputy MLRO should have:

  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations and compliance frameworks within financial services.
  • Experience with Wholesale Banking, Corporate Banking or Trade Finance
  • Proven experience in risk and compliance roles.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in compliance or AML.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
