Job Description

The Senior Market Data Lawyer will be:



  • Advising on market data licensing and vendor agreements


  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts


  • Supporting investment banking and trading teams on data usage matters


  • Managing legal risk and regulatory considerations across data services


  • Working closely with procurement, technology and compliance teams

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Market Data Lawyer should be:



  • A solicitor with strong commercial contracts experience


  • Experienced advising on market data agreements within an investment bank


  • Familiar with vendor licensing arrangements and financial market data services


  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills


  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
