Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective warehouse solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Lead project management activities for solution implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends within warehousing and distribution.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members when necessary.
  • Consult clients around the benefit of automation and innovation (AMR/AGV, ASRS, Robotics)

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior warehouse Solutions Design Manager should have:

  • A strong background in warehouse design and responding to logistics tenders, particularly within the 3PL sector.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing operational solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (Excel).
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for warehouse layout and planning (AutoCAD, CLASS, Sketch up OR similar).
  • The ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving operational efficiency (MTM, Six sigma is an advantage).
