As Interim Site Leader in the FMCG industry, you will lead and engage the Manufacturing teams at the site to deliver daily customer service targets with effective resource planning, whilst managing HSE, Quality, Food Safety and cost. This will be an interim assignment lasting min 6 months.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations within the Manufacturing departments, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • To drive a Manufacturing Excellence continuous improvement culture to deliver sustained performance improvements.
  • The role has full responsibility for the site facilities and services across both Manufacturing and Distribution functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations within the workplace.
  • Identify and deliver the site manufacturing revenue and capital budgets and manage revenue expenditure to ensure budget targets are achieved.
  • Lead and engage the manufacturing team to deliver the annual HSE plan and drive the HSE culture change through team engagement, involvement and responsibility for HSE activities.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and training of team members to enhance skills and capabilities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Site Leader should have:

  • Ability to start a contract of min 6 months within next month.
  • A strong background in engineering or manufacturing within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams effectively.
  • A track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management in an operational setting.
