Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the organisation's accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Develop and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal users of the financial systems.
  • Analyse financial data to support decision-making and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure integration between financial systems and other organisational tools.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders as required.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and system-related tasks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Systems Accountant should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and financial systems within the Not For Profit sector would be beneficial.
    • Deep hands-on experience with Business Central, particularly in finance module configuration and support.
    • Strong working knowledge of core finance processes and internal controls.
    • Proven ability to translate operational finance needs into scalable, systemised solutions.
    • Comfortable working independently across the organisation and technical stakeholders.
    • Practical experience with system upgrades, user support, and process change.
