Job Description

  • Manage the organisation's tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors as needed.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advice to optimise the organisation's tax position.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting and resolve any tax-related issues or queries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve tax processes and efficiencies.
  • Support the finance team with tax-related audits and reviews.
  • Deliver training and updates to internal stakeholders on tax matters.
  • Manage corporate tax.
  • Lead on pricing and tax reporting
  • Work with finance teams, advisers, and tax authorities
  • Support audits, tax risks, and business projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., CTA).
  • Proven expertise in managing tax compliance and providing strategic tax advice.
  • Experience working within the not-for-profit sector or similar industries.
  • A strong understanding of UK tax regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness.
