Job Description

  • Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns for a varied client base.
  • Provide advisory services on tax planning opportunities and compliance issues.
  • Assist with resolving HMRC queries and investigations on behalf of clients.
  • Support the team in preparing tax provisions and computations for statutory accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and its application to client cases.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to aid their development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the tax department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Senior should have:

  • A professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally in tax.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
