Job Description

  • Assist in preparing accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients.
  • Support the team in reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
  • Work on client bookkeeping and VAT returns using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information.
  • Help in the preparation of tax computations and returns.
  • Contribute to audits and other financial projects as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AAT or ACCA Trainee Accountant should have:

  • Good level of education/grades in GCSE's including Maths, English
  • AAT qualification or active enrolment in an ACCA programme. (desirable)
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in accounting and finance.
  • An organised approach with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • A commitment to providing excellent service within the business services industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
