Meet the team

Jane Lunnon
Head

Jane became Head of Alleyn's in 2021, a trained English Teacher, Jane has had experience of both single-sex and co-educational environments, having worked at Wellington College and Prior’s Field School. Previous roles have seen Jane be Head of English, Assistant Director of Studies, Head of Sixth Form, Deputy Pastoral and Housemaster’s wife. She returned to Wellington College in 2010, to be Senior Deputy Head, before becoming Head of Wimbledon High School in September 2014 for six years.

Jane is also a trustee of the Royal Springboard Foundation, sits on the Board of Governors for the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, Barrow Hills School and King Edward’s School, Witley and sits on the HMC Universities Committee. Her first book, “The State of Independence”, co-written with Dr David James, was first published by Routledge in 2019 and examines the challenges and opportunities for independent education.

Guy Collins-Down
Chief Operating Officer

Guy joined Alleyn's in August 2022, he has a wealth of operational experience having worked at a variety of schools including Finton House School, South Hampstead High School and Harrow School. Guy loves travel, absorbs culture, and is into fitness.

Frank Keenan
Director of Development and Alumni Relations

Frank joined Alleyn's in September 2021, prior to this he helped to establish the Development and Alumni Office and the fundraising efforts of Hampton School. Frank read Geography at Durham University and was Club Captain of the University Rugby Team. His rugby playing days may be over, but he still has a strong passion for sport…running, swimming and cycling as much as possible. 

Aidan Sproat-Clements
Assistant Head (Director of Studies)

Aidan joined Alleyn's in September 2021, after working at Wellington College, where he served as Head of Maths for eleven years, and prior to that he taught at Westminster School. In addition to teaching, he has written textbooks for the IB’s Middle Years Programme and helped the IB to develop electronic examinations. Aidan read Mathematics and Music at Trinity College, Cambridge, and has given talks on a wide range of subjects including the mathematics of piano tuning and origins of number systems. In addition, he is a keen quizzer… if you are a fan of “Only Connect” may recognise him!
