Plain text version: Hidden Talent ebook (Word version)

The process of finding a new job can be challenging whatever your background, whether that’s writing a stand-out CV and cover letter, or answering tricky questions in job interviews.

But have you ever stopped to think about the barriers you might face in a recruitment process if you were visually impaired, neurodiverse or had a learning disability?

At PageGroup, we are calling on employers to make the jobs market accessible to all – and in the process, open up the ‘hidden’ talent pool of those with disabilities who are ready, willing and able to work.

We recognise that achieving accessibility for all is not always straightforward.

So to provide you with all the key insights and advice you need on improving your recruitment processes, we have partnered with our accessibility software provider Recite Me, and other experts in sight loss, learning disabilities and neurodiversity, to produce a brand new eBook.

One in five of the UK population have a disability, yet of the 8.4 million disabled people of working age, only 4.4 million are in work. At PageGroup, we’re on a mission to open up this ‘hidden’ talent pool. That’s why we have worked with four specialist disability organisations to offer practical tips and guidance for businesses on how to make your recruitment process as accessible as possible.
