Due to continued growth in the Midlands, the business is seeking to appoint an Accounting Director to strengthen its senior leadership team.

Job Description

  • Manage and develop a substantial portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, acting as a trusted advisor on accounting and business matters
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of statutory accounts, management reporting and advisory projects
  • Drive business development activity, identifying opportunities to expand services and win new clients
  • Provide strategic input into client engagements, offering insight on growth, profitability and efficiencies
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of managers and senior staff, ensuring high standards and strong performance

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA orACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience within practice
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering accounting services at a senior level
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
  • Experience in leading and developing teams within a professional services environment
