  • Processing purchase invoices, including OCR capture and coding
  • Preparing and processing sales ledger invoices for corporate clients
  • Reconciling revenue against activity and preparing accrued/deferred income journals
  • Reconciling 3rd‑party provider revenue with operational system data and bank entries
  • Posting bank transactions and supporting full bank reconciliation
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and processing depreciation
  • Preparing prepayment and accrual journals for review
  • Managing intercompany postings, invoices, and journals
  • Supporting supplier payment runs
  • Assisting in reviewing investment fees charged to clients
  • Loading payments into bank systems for approval
  • Reviewing staff expenses and ensuring correct VAT recovery
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating aged items
  • Helping the wider Finance Team with ad‑hoc duties as needed

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, problem‑solving, and working as part of a supportive and friendly team.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in a finance, accounts, or transactional processing role (purchase ledger, sales ledger, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
  • Good understanding of Excel and financial systems
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach

If you're currently studying AAT or looking to start your qualification, that's a bonus-but not essential.

What's on Offer

  • 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Full‑time office‑based role within a supportive, friendly team
  • Opportunities for ongoing development and career progression
  • A company culture built on integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement
