A highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter is searching for an Accounts Manager - Medical Sector Specialist to join their team with opportunity to progress in your career taking both a lead on client relationships, managing a portfolio and service delivery as well as developing and supporting the wider team. The client base will focus dealing with Medical sector clients, GPs, consultants and other healthcare related clients.

About Our Client

Based in Exeter this leading firm of chartered accountants is undergoing continued growth and planning for the ongoing future success and growth of its business. Due to growth there is a clear need to invest and further develop their Exeter offices. The firm has a growing medical sector client base acting for wide ranging GPs, consultants and other associated medical and healthcare clients. This role will focus on developing and leading the growth of their medical sector service arm, with a clear route to progress on offer.

Job Description

Based from the firms Exeter offices the successful addition will join as an Accounts Manager - Medical Sector Specialist where you will manage and oversee a medical client sector focused portfolio, with the delivery of year end accounting, taxation and significant planning and business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. You will develop and build strong relationship with clients, in a client facing capacity, advising on accounting and added value advisory services, alongside overseeing a quality compliance service, developing and leading a support team. Advisory work is complex and rewarding, involving projects across business and tax planning, remuneration and exit and pension plans, mergers and acquisitions, property related expansions and other wider ranging advisory projects.

The Successful Applicant

For this Accounts Manager - Medical Sector Specialist role you will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA etc qualified, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to Managerial levels. You will have skills across the range of accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills as a general, all around practitioner, with medical client sector experience. You will be looking for a challenging career move where you can carve a pivotal role, driving the future growth and development of this successful office and specialist medical client sector service line. Your career will have been developed in any of small, medium/large size, mid tier, or top tier firm background locally, or you may be looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession at this level.

What's on Offer
