This is an excellent opportunity for a second mover to build upon their transactional finance experience, in a newly-created team that have ambitious plans for 2026. You'll own the AP process whilst building experience across month-end and AR, and will be part of an ambitious team that are going to grow over the next year.

Job Description

  • Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies effectively.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records in the system.
  • Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Handle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders professionally.
  • Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the team with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable professional should have:

  • 2-5 years experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the property industry.
