Job Description

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
  • Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client interactions.
  • Work with internal teams to address billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Prepare regular reports on collection progress and account status.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service while addressing payment-related queries.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AR Collections Specialist should have:

  • Experience in accounts receivable or credit control roles, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
