Job Description

  • Lead the design vision, architectural strategy, and delivery of large-scale luxury developments across hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, and premium residential sectors.
  • Provide design leadership and technical oversight throughout all project stages, from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation.
  • Manage and mentor multidisciplinary architectural teams, ensuring high standards of creativity, coordination, and project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and design intent.
  • Oversee design reviews, technical coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regional codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Drive design innovation and excellence, ensuring projects maintain a strong architectural identity and meet premium market expectations.
  • Support business development and client relationship management, contributing to winning new projects and expanding the firm's regional portfolio.
  • Ensure effective project planning, resource management, and delivery timelines, maintaining design integrity while meeting project milestones.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Architect Director should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • 20+ years of professional experience within leading international or regional architecture design firms in UAE
  • Proven experience delivering luxury / high-end complex developments including hospitality, hotels, palaces, mixed-use, commercial, and premium residential projects.
  • Strong design leadership experience managing large architectural teams and complex project portfolios.
  • Background exclusively with top-tier architecture design consultancies in Dubai or the GCC.
  • Demonstrated career stability, with a consistent track record of long-term tenure and progression within organizations.
  • Strong client-facing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide projects from concept to delivery.
