Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to improve processes.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Manage financial data entry and maintain organised records.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment finance
  • CIMA or ACCA part‑qualified, with clear progression underway
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong Excel capability and confidence with financial systems
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
