Job Description

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Credit control
  • Processing journals
  • VAT returns
  • Provide general support to the Accounting & Finance team as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • A background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Studying towards relevant finance qualification
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
