Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed analysis.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide insights to aid decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance, or working towards one.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
