Job Description

  • Prepare accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide updates.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide support in tax computations and submissions as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior should have:

  • A background in a related role within an accountancy practice (2+ years experience).
  • Experience in preparing accounts and supporting audit processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Studying towards professional accounting qualification.
