For an ambitious Audit Manager, this offers the opportunity to retain the client contact and autonomy associated with a local practice while benefiting from the resources and opportunities available within a much larger accountancy groupJob DescriptionPlan, coordinate, and manage audit engagements from start to finish.Review and approve audit files to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Provide technical guidance to team members and support their professional development.Liaise with clients to address audit findings and offer practical recommendations.Monitor budgets and timelines for audit projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting and auditing standards.Support business development activities by identifying opportunities with existing clients.Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.The Successful ApplicantACA or ACCA qualified with experience gained within an accountancy practice.Broad audit experience across a varied range of clients.Previous responsibility for managing an audit portfolio.Good technical understanding of FRS 102.Experience managing, coaching and mentoring junior team members.Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client requirements.Comfortable working within professional regulations and best-practice standards.Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Confident and professional when dealing directly with clients.Good IT and computer skills.Ambitious and resilient with the drive to achieve strong results.Committed to delivering high-quality client service.What's on OfferSalary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.Company pension scheme.25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.Additional annual leave days at certain levels of seniority.Option to purchase up to 5 extra annual leave days, reaching a maximum of 30 days per year.Business closure over Christmas.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
