Job Description

  • Plan and deliver audit assignments, ensuring each stage is completed accurately and on time.
  • Review financial information and supporting records to identify key audit points.
  • Prepare clear audit working papers that provide a reliable record of work completed.
  • Discuss findings with clients and gather the information needed to progress each assignment.
  • Resolve audit queries promptly, helping to keep assignments on track.
  • Produce accurate draft audit outputs for review and final completion.
  • Maintain organised files and documentation throughout each audit assignment.
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance department to deliver consistent client service.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Audit Senior' should have:

  • Experience of completing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of audit working papers and financial records.
  • Ability to review information carefully and identify relevant audit points.
  • Experience of preparing clear and accurate audit documentation.
  • Confidence in discussing audit queries and findings with clients.
