Job Description

  • Source and procure products in line with company requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new ones.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability and avoid overstocking.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain within the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software or relevant tools.
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation.
