Job Description

  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational objectives.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the organisation's financial sustainability.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Lead and mentor one direct report and help the small finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective allocation of financial resources.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Charity Finance Manager should have:

  • A relevant professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Proven experience in financial management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
