It is also part of a larger established group in the sector, giving employees the backing of a sizeable platform while working in a specialist legal setting.Job DescriptionThe Civil Litigation Solicitor will be:Handling a full caseload of debt recovery and insolvency matters from initial instruction through to conclusionManaging litigated claims efficiently and in line with procedural deadlinesDrafting pleadings, applications, witness statements and other key legal documentsAdvising on litigation strategy, recovery routes and enforcement optionsLiaising with clients, internal stakeholders, courts and external agentsReviewing matters for settlement, escalation and insolvency action where appropriateInstructing barristers where advocacy support is requiredSupporting strong case progression, risk management and compliance standardsDelivering a high standard of client service across a varied civil litigation caseloadThe Successful ApplicantThe Civil Litigation Solicitor should be:A solicitor or equivalent with NQ+ PQEExperienced in civil litigationConfident managing files with appropriate supervision for level of experienceFamiliar with handling matters from instruction through to resolutionComfortable drafting legal documentation and corresponding with multiple partiesOrganised, commercially aware and able to prioritise a busy caseloadA Fellow of CILEX with litigation rights will also be consideredInterested in developing further within a specialist recoveries and disputes teamWhat's on OfferThis is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist and growing legal business in a full time, permanent role offering a salary of £40,000.
