Job Description

  • Clean allocated rooms, shared areas and facilities to an agreed standard.
  • Carry out routine cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and wiping surfaces.
  • Maintain washroom areas so they remain clean, stocked and ready for use.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with site arrangements.
  • Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and store them securely after use.
  • Report damaged equipment, low cleaning supplies and any issues found during cleaning.
  • Follow cleaning schedules to ensure all assigned areas are completed on time.
  • Help maintain clean, presentable facilities for staff, visitors and users of the site.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Cleaner' should have:

  • The ability to complete cleaning tasks thoroughly and consistently.
  • Confidence using standard cleaning equipment and materials safely.
  • A practical approach to maintaining clean and orderly spaces.
  • The ability to follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned duties.
  • Care when handling supplies, equipment and waste.
  • The ability to identify and report issues found within facilities.
