Job Description

This is a pivotal commercial leadership role within a high‑growth division, responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise sales strategy across multiple business units. The Commercial Director will drive revenue growth, strengthen customer value, and elevate commercial performance through cross‑functional collaboration, market insight, and decisive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver commercial strategies that accelerate revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Interpret market trends and customer dynamics to refine divisional vision and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and embed a unified cross‑sell and team‑sell strategy across business units.
  • Lead enterprise sales activity across new business, renewals, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Oversee account management and bid functions to ensure alignment with commercial priorities.
  • Drive monthly growth reviews and quarterly commission cycles to maintain performance momentum.
  • Monitor product performance, ensuring commercial objectives and business cases are achieved.
  • Refine go‑to‑market models, commercial narratives, and enterprise propositions.
  • Build strategic customer and partner relationships, enhancing satisfaction and retention.
  • Set and manage divisional sales targets and forecasts with BU leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Data to align commercial strategy with customer needs and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Exercises sound judgement and confident decision making in high stakes, high ambiguity environments.
  • Inspiring leadership presence with experience coaching, developing, and motivating high performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams or workstreams across complex or multi‑brand organisations.
  • Strong history of implementing sales strategies, frameworks, and performance programmes that deliver measurable commercial uplift.
  • Experience delivering business expansion and/or transformation programmes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage clients, partners, and internal executives with clarity and authority.
  • Experience within the residential property or built‑environment sector is beneficial but not essential.



Candidates are likely to come from solution‑led, data‑driven or technology enabled industries where enterprise sales, multi‑product propositions and value‑based selling are central to success.
