Job Description

  • Carry out commercial electrical installation work across industrial and commercial areas.
  • Complete planned electrical work to help maintain safe, reliable facilities.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs to reduce disruption to operations.
  • Install, test and maintain electrical equipment in line with job requirements.
  • Read and follow electrical drawings and specifications when completing work.
  • Record completed tasks and report any issues found during electrical work.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Engineering department to plan daily activities.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work area throughout each assignment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Commercial Electrician' should have:

  • Experience completing commercial electrical installation and maintenance work.
  • Ability to identify electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Confidence working with electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Practical knowledge of installing, testing and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Ability to complete work accurately and keep clear records of completed tasks.
  • Awareness of safe working practices when carrying out electrical activities.
