Job Description

    • Create engaging content across a range of internal and external channels to communicate key organisational messages and raise its profile with tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
    • Produce impactful video content and develop creative briefs for multimedia projects.
    • Manage social media channels and collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide timely and appropriate responses to public enquiries (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube).
    • Provide photography support for events, campaigns, and organisational activities.
    • Write and develop content for newsletters, leaflets, posters, intranet, staff bulletins, websites, digital platforms, and award submissions.
    • Design and produce a range of promotional materials and reports, including analysis of performance data where required.
    • Support the delivery of internal engagement campaigns and initiatives.
    • Attend meetings and conferences to represent the communications function and provide event support when needed.
    • Identify and develop opportunities for engaging content, case studies, and positive news stories to enhance organisational visibility and reputation.
    • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across communication channels and approaches.
    • Use IT systems, content management systems, and digital design tools to manage and update digital platforms.
    • Carry out administrative duties, including invoice processing, calendar coordination, and organisation of content libraries.
    • Undertake other duties as required to support the wider team.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Communication and Content Officer should have:

  • Proven experience in content creation and communication, preferably within the not-for-profit industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and digital tools.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and their application in communication strategies.
  • An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and project management.
