Job Description

  • Ensure services meet legal, customer, and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain, monitor, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of BRCGS certification.
  • Analyse performance data and produce quality and compliance reports.
  • Develop, update, and manage quality procedures, controls, and documentation.
  • Provide internal support for IT/telephony systems and act as the main contact for service providers.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Deliver quality‑related training and support staff in adopting quality standards.
  • Respond to customer complaints professionally and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Enforce health & safety standards, investigate incidents, and ensure a safe working environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Compliance Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in compliance within the transport and distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in logistics.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external regulators.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software for compliance tracking and reporting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
