The organisation promotes flexible working, diversity and inclusion, and offers excellent long-term career development opportunities.Job DescriptionThe Construction Contracts Legal Counsel will be:Providing legal advice on high-value NEC construction and infrastructure contractsSupporting procurement, commercial and supply chain teams on major projects workAdvising on contractual claims, disputes and risk allocation mattersDrafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and funding arrangementsManaging external legal counsel where required and supporting key stakeholder decision makingThe Successful ApplicantThe Construction Contracts Legal Counsel should be:A solicitor or barrister with strong construction and commercial contracts experienceExperienced advising on NEC contracts within infrastructure, construction or major projects environmentsExperienced working either in-house or in private practice supporting major UK projectsComfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships across commercial and procurement teamsExperienced handling contractual claims, procurement and risk management mattersWhat's on OfferThis is an opportunity to join a highly respected in-house legal team working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
