Job Description

The Consumer Credit Lawyer will be:

  • Advising on FCA-regulated consumer credit and lending matters
  • Supporting product development and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Partnering with business teams to manage legal risk
  • Drafting and negotiating finance and consumer credit documentation
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and advising on impacts

The Successful Applicant

The Consumer Credit Lawyer should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ PQE in finance or consumer credit
  • Experienced in FCA-regulated consumer lending frameworks
  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating financial services documentation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-house or financial services environment
