The Business Services team is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a Corporate Finance Director (Business Services) to help drive origination, lead transaction execution and contribute to the continued success of a high-performing advisory platform.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as a Corporate Finance Director (Business Services)

  • Generate and develop deal flow through an established network of senior contacts and intermediaries.
  • Originate and win both buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates.
  • Lead transaction execution and oversee the delivery of high-quality client outcomes throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Drive business development initiatives to support the continued growth of the Corporate Finance practice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, advisers and key market participants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of advisory professionals.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and support the long-term growth of the M&A business.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA, CFA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant M&A advisory experience gained within a Big 4, Top 10, corporate finance boutique, investment bank, private equity or corporate development environment.
  • Proven success in originating and winning buy-side and sell-side mandates.
  • Strong deal execution experience across the full transaction lifecycle from origination to completion.
  • Demonstrable experience leading mid-market transactions.
  • Strong origination capability and an established professional network within the Business Services sector.
  • Excellent client management, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring and developing high-calibre teams.
  • Outstanding commercial judgement, communication and strategic thinking skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining high professional standards.
